We belong to a community of Catholic schools across the world, which are rooted in the traditions and heritage of Catholic education. As Headteacher of this school, it is a great privilege to serve our community of students, staff and family, not least because we are a school at the heart of the community, helping to shape and form young people into confident young adults, ready to take their place in the world.
There have been many changes in the English education system in recent years, yet the traditional values we uphold, to teach the children what is necessary for life, encourage us to educate our students with meaningful, useful and challenging subjects, that enable them to contribute to our society when they leave us. We provide a curriculum which is dynamic, carefully planned and enriching, to meet the needs of all our students, at every Key Stage.
As a Catholic school we nurture our students to become strong, independent young women and men, ready to make a significant contribution to our communities, locally, nationally and internationally, rooted in the goodness of God.
I want your child to be happy and successful, but also to live out the Gospel values of fairness, care and compassion. That is what makes our school community a special place in which to grow and learn.
Best wishes
Mrs G Lynch
