St Augustine celebrated the season of Advent with a Reconciliation service and Celebration of the Word
Students were challenged to do an examination of conscience which was read and acted out by students in Years 8 and 9.
Year 9 attended a beautiful Advent Mass at St Mary’s Church and served as readers.
A group of Year 7s and 8s attended the Schools Advent Service in the Metropolitan Cathedral in Liverpool, enjoying the surprise of a real donkey walking by their bench inside the Cathedral.
At the Cathedral everyone stopped for a moment to pray at the statue of St Martin de Porres.
A total of £261.97 was raised for CAFOD with our Christmas activities.
Student leaders attended the Trust Epiphany and end of Jubilee Mass at SFX.
Beautiful singing at Broad Oak Care Home. The choir shared Christmas carols with grateful residents who sang along!
We blessed the Chapel door with a traditional Epiphany chalk blessing – Happy 2026.
We held a very successful CAFOD Christmas cake sale.
