Celebrating Creativity and Faith: Catholic Social Teaching Symbol Competition
At St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School, we are proud to place Catholic Social Teaching (CST) at the heart of our mission to form compassionate, thoughtful, and active citizens of the world.
This term, we launched an exciting school-wide competition inviting students to design a set of symbols that represent the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching, symbols that will now be used across our school and throughout our wider Trust.
We were overwhelmed by the response, with over 100 entries submitted by students from all year groups. The creativity, thoughtfulness, and depth of understanding shown in the designs were truly inspiring. Each entry reflected a personal interpretation of the values that underpin CST, and it was clear that our students had taken great care to express these teachings in a meaningful and visually powerful way.
