Open Evening FAQs

What is the event schedule?

Between 5.00pm -7.00pm there is the opportunity to tour the building, see our facilities and meet our staff and pupils. There are many displays, activities, and taster sessions to take part in. 

There are two opportunities to attend the Headteacher’s talk , the first at 5.15 and then repeated at 6.15. 

Do I have to arrive at a set time?

No, you can join us at any time between 5.00 and 7.00pm. 

Do I need to confirm my attendance?

No, you will be registered on arrival. 

Where can I park?

Parking is in the main carpark at the front of school, with additional spaces at the side by the sports hall. 

Are refreshments provided?

There will be samples from our school meals menu and other refreshments in canteen. 

How many people can I bring/are allowed to attend?

There are no limits to how many can attend but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note, unfortunately we do not have a lift.

How much time can I spend looking around the school?

You can spend as long as you wish in school, between the times of 5.00 and 7.00pm.

Do you offer one-to-one tours?

There will be prefects and pupils available to accompany small groups on the night.  

Will staff be available to speak to?

Yes. The Senior Leadership Team, SENCO, pastoral staff, and teaching staff from all subject areas will be available on the night.
